GÖTEBORG BOOK FAIR FELLOWSHIP

Translators, publishers and sub-agents with an interest in Swedish literature are now invited to apply for the Göteborg Book Fair Fellowship Programme 2017. The deadline for applications is May 4th.

Translators, non-Nordic publishers and sub-agents with an interest in publishing/working with Swedish quality literature are eligible to apply. The grant covers part of the travel cost, accommodation for 3 nights, and entrance to all seminars during the fair. The programme is partly fixed, with meetings, lectures, and evening activities, and partly open to individual scheduling. Read more about the programme and find out how to apply here.

Last year’s programme saw thirty-eight participating publishers and translators from nineteen language areas. They attended lectures about new Swedish literature and the Swedish book market, met with authors and Swedish publishing colleagues and, of course, spent plenty of time with the agents in the Rights Centre.
