The Cities of Refuge programme
We work to include more cities in Sweden in ICORN, (the International Cities of Refuge Network), and become cities of refuge for threatened artists. In addition, we work to facilitate for the artists of refuge in Sweden to be in the public eye. We do this through different types of information and through awarding grants to projects, giving artists of refuge possibilities to participate in public and artistic contexts.
We are the national contact point in Sweden for the EU programme for the cultural and creative sectors Creative Europe. We work to strengthen international cultural cooperation, inform about Creative Europe, promoting awareness and understanding of Creative Europe and providing free advice sessions for Swedish applicants. We can also help applicants to find project partners in both Sweden and in Europe.
Unesco 2005 convention
We are the national contact for the Unesco 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions.
