Grants for translators of Swedish literature
In the second application round for grants for travel and sample translations, the majority of the approved applicants will travel to the Gothenburg Book Fair in September. We also approved grants for mentorship, the sample translation of Vrakstrand by Elin Bengtsson and participation in conferences and festivals.
In this allocation, we approved 30 applications of which 23 will travel to the Gothenburg Book Fair. The high level of interest among translators in the Fair underlines its importance for the Swedish book market and the international exchange.
